New Rules Tornado 3.3.2001

New rules published for the Tornado class, www.tornado.tc/newrigru.htm The Tornado has gone big a larger main and jib together with the addition of a spinnaker should keep this class in the Olympic fold for years to come.

April 2000 - Olympic Trials

Following an extended trials Hugh Styles and Adam May will represent Team GBR at the Sydney 2000 games.


January 2000 - Tornado World Championships

Hugh Styles & Adam May were looking good for a medal position at this championship, until the Jury reversed an earlier decision over race six, this disallowed redress for the British and 5 other teams, and gave them an 18th instead of a 3rd.
This dropped our latest medal prospects to 8th overall, still an excellent result which gives great hope for Sydney medals.
