BASSADONE - HOPSON OLYMPIC SAILING CAMPAIGN - 17.6.2002

Christina Bassadone and Katherine Hopson have recently combined as a crew with the aim of competing at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens in the 470 dinghy class.

September 2000 - Olympic Regatta

So close!
In a final day showdown Nick & Jo narrowly missed out on becoming GB's second Olympic sailing medalists of the games.
The result could hardly of been closer with the Argentinians taking the bronze medal by just one point. However disappointing this may be, Nick & Jo must be congratulated on an excellent performance, well above the expectations of most commentators.

May 2000

After an extended trials process finally ended Nick Rogers & Jo Glanfield were selected to represent Team GBR at Sydney.
Currently ranked 11 in the World Nick & Jo have had top 6 places at the Pre Olympics, World & European Championships.

September 1999

Nick Rogers & Jo Glanfield finish 4th overall at the Pre-Olympic Regatta in Sydney.
Althought missing out on a medal place this can be considered a strong performance, and puts Nick & Jo firmly in contention should they be able to secure the British place at the 2000 event.
