I am constantly getting enquiries about how to get a site seen on the web, so I have created this page as a basic set of tools any webmaster can use to help promote their site.
The basic tools are free, but to get the best it may be necessary to spend a bit of time and money, try the services below and make your own judgement.

Before you do anything look at how your site will appear to others, it may well surprise you!!
Visit Web Site Garage here you will be able to run a complete check on the index page of your site, you will find out how long it takes to load, how good your HTML code is and how the page will look in different browsers, well worth a visit.
You will also discover if the site is ready for submission to the search engines, follow their tips, and then return to this page, why not bookmark us?

Now lets start with a basic search engine submitter, that should get you listed in some of the most popular sites. This only takes a couple of minutes, please feel free to use the form below as many times as you wish.

Probably the most important listing is not mentioned here, Yahoo I recommend you submit to them by hand, visit the Yahoo UK site, find the best catagory for your site and find the Add URL link.
This listing may take a couple of weeks to appear, and will if selected be confirmed by email, go back and do it again if you are not successful the first time.

You can also visit the UK Submit site which lists directories and search engines that are UK based, this is a huge resource, and will save a great deal of time searching for UK sites.

Secondly you can post your sites URL on Free For All Links pages, start with Rogers Links there are thousands of such pages on the web, and some believe that more people are now finding sites by these pages than search engines.
