The river is open at the village, allowing legs of up to 1 mile long. Tidal streams and counter currents make for interesting sailing conditions.
Sailing is from April to December, with a racing program and training for
juniors.
Membership is relatively cheap, reflecting the absence of any costly
facilities. Our facilties consist of a dinghy park, a boat house with changing/storage facilities and a kettle! We have two rescue boats. Toilets and car parking are available nearby in the Ham car park. There are no showers (except when it rains - quite often!) However, the water is one of the most beautiful estuaries in the country. Open Meetings - we run class meetings for Lasers, Solos, Toppers and Oppies. There is a regatta on the second Saturday in August, and we participate in the Dartmouth Regatta.
